ST. LOUIS, MO – July 19, 2017 – Williams Venker & Sanders, a premier Midwest litigation firm, is pleased to announce that attorney Terry O’Toole has been selected to receive the prestigious Lon O. Hocker Award for 2017. Recipients of the Award are chosen annually by a Review Committee from the Missouri Bar Foundation for exemplifying professionalism, high ethical conduct, and demonstrated proficiency in the art of trial advocacy.
Prior to joining WVS, Terry served as a police officer in University City, Missouri for nearly six years before graduating from St. Louis University School of Law in 2008. After graduation, Terry served as an Assistant Circuit Attorney in the City of St. Louis and an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Jackson County, Missouri, where he tried over 40 cases to verdict. Currently, Terry works in the healthcare and general liability practice groups, focusing on the defense of medical malpractice, transportation, personal injury, and premises liability.
Terry and the two other recipients of the Lon O. Hocker Award will be honored during the Missouri Bar Foundation and Public Service Awards Luncheon on September 13, 2017, in Kansas City, Missouri.
