Product Liability
The experience and practice of the firm is very diverse in product liability. We have tried numerous jury cases to verdict involving automobiles, heavy construction machinery, mining machinery, forklifts, factory machinery, helicopters, pharmaceutical products and a variety of general consumer products. In our defense of product liability cases, we have been retained by both in-house legal departments and insurers. Our product liability practice includes experience beyond the traditional personal injury product liability claims. We also represent companies in high exposure subrogation claims wherein we defend our client’s product against allegations that it was defective and caused property damage, lost profits and/or related economic damages. Recently our product liability practice has also included the defense of companies in consumer class actions asserting defects in a product and/or fraud in its marketing, advertising or labeling.
