Our attorneys have a history of dedicating themselves to the St. Louis metropolitan region through pro bono work and community service. Our firm's culture puts an emphasis on voluntary service -- we have always recognized the importance of serving the region in a variety of ways.
Our lawyers participate in pro bono services provided by numerous organizations in the St. Louis Metropolitan area, including Legal Services of Eastern Missouri and Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts. Organizations such as these provide us with opportunities to assist those in need of legal advice. The pro bono cases we undertake range widely in type, from civil rights violations to contract disputes. We encourage our attorneys to participate in pro bono programs as a way not only to help the community, but also to broaden their practice and skills.
Our attorneys are also assist a number of charitable programs benefiting a variety of groups. We hold annual drives benefiting St. Louis-based organizations including KidSmart (Push for Pencils), The Bar Association of Metropolitan of St. Louis (Kids In Motion) and St. Patrick Center. Further, our attorneys and staff contribute annually to the St. Louis Internship Project, Edwardsville Intelligencer’s Newspapers in Education program, and we are a repeating corporate participant in the United Way campaign. We also support law-related organizations in their charitable pursuits, as well, by sponsoring programs produced by Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, the Mound City Bar Association, and the St. Louis Bar Foundation, among others.
Our lawyers contribute individually to the community in a number of ways as well. Our attorneys regularly volunteer at schools, churches, synagogues, arts organizations and other non-profit groups. Additionally, many of our lawyers serve as board members of several charitable organizations, including Team Activities for Special Kids (TASK), Wyman Center and the St. Louis Bar Foundation.
