ST. LOUIS, MO – April 23, 2009– Williams Venker & Sanders LLC was named one of the "Best Places to Work" in St. Louis by the St. Louis Business Journal at an awards ceremony held Thursday, April 16^th. The firm, specializing in complex litigation, was awarded 2^nd place in the small company category (50-199 employees). The St. Louis Business Journal received over 200 nominations for the "Best Places to Work" Award.

This is the first year that Williams Venker & Sanders was named as a "Best Places to Work" finalist. Legal secretary, Brenda Voss, told the St. Louis Business Journal "There is a real team attitude. When the big guys are talking to the people who run the copy machines, they are just as respectful to them as they are to each other. I have worked at bigger and small firms, and you don’t always see that."  Lucy Unger, Chair of the firm’s Management Committee, accepted the award on behalf of Williams Venker & Sanders at the April 16^th event.
