ST. LOUIS, MO – December 1, 2009 – Architecture firm Trivers Associates and the law firm of Williams Venker & Sanders, recently collected over 1600 food donations in the companies’ annual food drive benefiting St. Patrick Center. With the economic downturn causing an increase in demand at the Center, a local organization that provides opportunities for self-sufficiency and dignity to persons who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, the Charity was extremely grateful to receive the large donation from Trivers Associates and Williams Venker & Sanders. "2009 has been a challenging year for many in our community and equally tough for St. Patrick Center," says Jan Rasmussen, St. Patrick Center Chief Development Officer. "Still, we find ourselves counting our blessings due to the incredible outpouring of support from our donors and volunteers. Their gifts of money, time, talents, food, clothing and other in-kind items are making a real difference for our neighbors in need." Combined, the two firms donated over 100 items more than in 2008.
