Each of our Health Care Law Practice Group leaders has at least 20 years of experience representing an array of health care providers in Missouri and Illinois.  We represent health systems, medical schools, hospitals, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, private practice groups, outpatient surgery centers, and corrections medicine organizations, as well as doctors, nurses, therapists, techs, and health care administrators.  We also represent medical professionals in matters before boards of registration and licensing.

Additionally, we defend claims with a quasi-criminal character, such as false imprisonment cases and accusations of assault and physical abuse of patients.  We also handle probate court matters for hospitals, such as guardianships and ECT proceedings.

Further, our group advises clients in areas of health care law not involving professional liability.  For example, our attorneys have defended employment discrimination cases brought by employees of our health care clients, including cases brought by health care providers.
