Biography

Matthew Pelikan practices law in the area of toxic torts, focusing on asbestos claims defense. With a background in litigation, he has also represented clients in a variety of matters including labor and employment, worker’s compensation, products and premises liability and general commercial issues. Matthew has handled every aspect of a case through resolution including drafting and arguing motions, conducting depositions and advising clients on legal strategy. In addition, he has substantial experience negotiating settlements and third-party liens, and has successfully argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals. In 2009, Matthew was recognized by Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers and included in their list of “Rising Stars” for his work in product liability defense.
